Hello! I'm Mohammed Ashraf.
A full-stack developer who builds and ships production web applications — e-commerce platforms, accounting and billing systems, and the interfaces sitting on top of them.
My work runs from React, Next.js, and Tailwind on the front through Supabase, Convex, and PostgreSQL behind it. What I care about most is the unglamorous half: database schema design, authentication and access control, and the performance details users actually feel.
I came to engineering from medicine. I studied it at the Islamic University of Gaza before switching to Computer Systems Engineering at Al-Azhar, and the habits carried over — read carefully, work from evidence, and don't guess when you can check.
Alongside client work I teach frontend at Zero to Hero. In April 2026 I joined Palestine AI Week with Palestine TechnoPark and Gaza Sky Geeks, working across two AI product teams — CivicMind, and Bookshelf, a reading app that summarises books and recommends what to read next. I'm currently extending my backend range with Laravel.
